Sheffield Modern book

£20.00

Sheffield Modern is an arts festival inspired by the city's architecture. It took place for the first time in October 2018 and returned in November 2019.

The weekender aims to get people thinking about the shape of the city in new ways – through exhibitions, talks, walks, family-focussed workshops, installations, and film screenings.

To coincide with the first Sheffield Modern in 2018, we published a book – a collection of four essays; two by Eddy Rhead and one each by Owen Hatherley and Tom James on housing, education, industry and infrastructure, and public buildings in Sheffield. Featuring original photography of the city by Theo Simpson and archival images from Picture Sheffield. The outer pouch is printed on Fedrigoni Sirio Vermiglioni board with a black gloss foil. Limited to 200 copies.

Also on sale: Sheffield Modern pin badge / poster.
